The first SCADA software developed by Spin Eng
ActionView is the first SCADA software developed by Spin Eng and has been used in automation operations for over 20 years. It was the first EMS/SCADA developed in Brazil to specifically meet the requirements of the electricity sector, being the result of a partnership between computer science technicians and technicians from power generation, transmission and distribution utilities.
Simple to use and lightweight
ActionView uses few computational resources when compared to other solutions. Its performance is consistent and has unique features applied to the electrical market.
So many years of application and development have resulted in versatile software that adapts to the customer’s needs. ActionView has a long history of use, but it is also prepared to dialogue with the future, as it can be integrated with Action.NET.
ActionView + Action.NET
In complex applications, such as Control Centers, application migration to a new platform is a matter that demands care and attention. For cases like this, the integration of ActionView with Action.NET allows the use of the new platform’s advantages, such as mobility, high-quality vector objects, and several other features, without the need for migration. It’s an option for customers who already have ActionView integrated into their operations but want more modern benefits.
OTS - Training
Two factors contribute to the lack of experience of operators and dispatchers of energy concessionaires: reduction of operating costs (site failure) and the aging and retirement of experienced technicians without staff renewal. However, the responsibility of a dispatcher remains very large. It is necessary to create training environments with electrical models similar to real ones to train operators. In installations that have ActionView deployed, it is possible to synchronize it with Action.EMS (Action.NET module), creating a Dispatcher Training System (OTS – Operator Training System) similar to the utility company.
Maintenance
ActionView has hundreds of features. And that number can easily grow to tens of hundreds, as each customer can tailor it to their specific needs. Having a maintenance service is not only a way to ensure that an operation runs safely, but also to get the most out of it.
